This quote continues to resonate with the women we work with.So what can we do to help?
One way is to help women to identify the characteristics, strengths and skills that make them who they are.
It’s not always easy to articulate our ‘strengths’ and in fact we suspect from our experience that if we asked a group of women to tell us their top five strengths they might come up with one or two, and then quickly move on to tell us all the things they are not so good at.
We can be incredibly dismissive of our strengths…as shared in this article from Psychology Today.

Use and review this technique regularly to build self belief and confidence.
Give it a try and share with other women, your colleagues, friends, and women in your networks or organisation.

One to one coaching can also help women to connect with their characteristics, strengths and skills, and provide a personalised space for their own reflections and development.

- Your way of being – as a leader, as a professional or in life in general
- A mindset shift – to challenge negative thinking patterns and unhelpful self-talk
- Building resilience and resilience practices that are sustainable and impactful
- Identifying practical actionable strategies that will have a positive impact on your situation or issue
- Managing work and life demands, priorities and dealing with overwhelm
